We made one more trip into town looking for a few last minute things, and of course a trip through the local art gallery. And of course we spent a few hours on the beach watching the windsurfers, kite surfers, snorklers, walkers, runners, dog walkers, swimmers, sailors, fishermen and a guy from Texas named Chad.. He was spearfishing and stopped to talk with us on his way home (no fish) to tell us what the sea life was like further out from the shore.

Our landlord recommended a place for dinner called Buona Sera in Kailua and it turned out to be a good choice. A mom and pop Italian place with pretty good food and drinks. He also offered us a smoking deal if we wanted to stay another week, and it was tempting, but it would have cost us $$ to change our flights and probably Bev her job.

All that's left is to pack up tonight and head to the airport tomorrow, and back to reality :)
